Imbergamo: What About Resident Parking Enforcement?

The following letter was submitted to InsideMedford.com for publication by South Medford resident Frank Imbergamo:

A few weeks ago there was a meeting regarding the problems with Parking in Medford. I would have gone to the meeting but I was out of town that day. I noticed that Medford is interested only with the business parking problems and [the meeting] never mentioned about residential. I am concerned about the winters in Medford and that the tenants have nowhere to park because the homeowners do not use their driveways. This problem has been going on for several years and no one has done anything about this–I have been a Medford resident for approximately 20 years and this is a disgrace!!

Let’s do things neighborly and fair–A lot of these home owners have kids with cars as well—this compounds the problem even more– having more than one car on the street is bad enough!!
