MHS Grad, Hockey Star Named to All-Academic Team
|Congratulations are in order for 2009 Medford High School graduate and hockey captain Stephen Servideo, who was recently selected to the 2009 Mass State High School Hockey Coaches All Academic Team.
The award recognizes players who are successful both on the ice and in the classroom. He is only the second MHS player to be named to the team since its inception in 1998.
Servideo, a forward on the hockey team, was also named a Greater Boston League All-Star and memorably pulled off a hat trick against Everett last season.
He was also recognized as a GBL All-Star as a member of the varsity lacrosse team.
Servideo, the son of Jim and Tracy Servideo of Medford, will be attending Canterbury Preparatory School in New Milford, Connecticut, in the Fall.
