Mustangs Play Hard; Lose in 1st Round

Head Coach Rachel Perry and the Medford High girls varsity soccer team, winners of the Greater Boston League title this fall, competed in the state tournament this past weekend.

The girls were seeded 12th in the North Division 1 section with a 10-5-3 record. They faced a tough game against number 5 seed Masconomet (13-3-2) on Sunday and lost 7-1 despite a strong effort.
