End of the Road for the Bubs
|Tufts a Cappella Group 2nd in National Singing Competition
Tufts University’s all-male a cappella group the Beelzebubs ended their spectacular run tonight in second place on NBC’s The Sing-off.
The Bubs stood out for their personality and charisma on-stage and managed to successfully pull off several musically divergent songs despite singing without any instruments.
“We’re just a couple of normal college kids. We’re just happy we had the opportunity to sing for you guys,” said a group member before the Bubs performed The Animals’ “We Gotta Get Out of This Place.”
Puerto Rican group Nota took top honors in the competition and was awarded $100,000 and a Sony recording contract.
