This special election really is special and it’s not just because of the snow. There’s a Medford resident (Coakley), a Tufts graduate (Brown), and a Kennedy who’s not related to the late Senator all vying to be the next US Senator from Massachusetts, a position that has not been up for grabs for almost half a century.
InsideMedford.com wants to know about your experience at the polls: Was it crowded? Were there lots of sign-holders? What number voter were you (check the number on top of the ballot machine after you submit your ballot). It’s up to you if you also want to mention how you voted.

I was at the Temple at 7:20 am and 61 people had voted. CNN has a camera crew at the VFW. I filmed the sign-holders…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOHs6tNtaxY
I was 374 around 12:30pm at Ward 1, Precinct 1 (Andrews Middle School).
Tufts 4-2 was at 664 at 1:25 PM. 4-1 was at 314.
This is going to be a huge turnout!
814 voters at the Roberts School (2-2). Seems like a pretty good number, although there was no line.
One voter reports she was 788 at the Andrews School around 5:10PM.
