Supt. Belson: School Planned for Wednesday
|School Officials Keep Eye on Forecast for Thursday
The following is an announcement from School Superintendent Roy Belson:
Unless the weather forecast changes and snow starts earlier than expected, our plan is to have school on Wednesday. The current forecast calls for snow showers to begin around noon with heavier snow coming in the mid afternoon. All schools are on an early release schedule. H.S. and Middle School will be out at noon. We will release Elementary students starting at 1:00 p.m. Parents should plan accordingly. Parents always have the option to keep their child at home under these conditions. Afterschool programs will run as scheduled, but parents are urged to pick up their children at the earliest possible time.
Parents and staff should tune in to a main television channel or check the internet site of such a station to see if a change in plan is required because of an updated report.
