Michael Andre Joins ERA Andrew Realty

Michael Andre, a lifelong Medford resident, accomplished athlete and local REALTOR®, has joined ERA Andrew Realty, announced John Veneziano, Broker/Owner of the award-winning, top 50 nationally-rated ERA franchise.

Andre is the son of well-known Medfordites, Kathy and Chuck Andre, and the grandson of Norma and Frank Andre, an established Medford businessman and real estate developer. Most recently, Andre’s father, Chuck, returned as a Broker/Associate at ERA Andrew Realty, the company he founded in 1986 then sold to Veneziano in 1992. For Michael Andre, real estate seems to be a “family calling” as he picks up the torch, marking the third generation of Andre’s to become involved in the industry. Energetic, focused and hardworking, Veneziano says there’s no doubt Andre is an excellent addition to his team of proactive real estate professionals.

Born and raised in Medford, Andre attended St. Francis of Assisi and Medford High School where he graduated in 2005. During his high school career, Andre was a multi-sport athlete, playing both football as a Mustangs quarterback and linebacker, and baseball as a third baseman and Captain of the 2005 team. Additionally, Andre was a Greater Boston League All-Star in 2005 and was the recipient of the Perry M. Black Memorial Baseball Scholarship.

After graduating from Medford High School, Andre continued his studies and baseball career at Merrimack College, where he was a four year starter and the 2009 Captain of the college’s baseball team. In 2009, Andre won “The Coaches Award” and was a three-time winner of The Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week Honors.

Throughout his college career, Andre lent his talents and coaching skills to a variety of athletic clubs where he served as an instructor. These include: Play to Win Baseball Camp at Harvard University where he coached over 200 students ages 7-16 in a month long camp, and RBI Baseball Academy: Jason Varitek Baseball Camp where he instructed individuals ages 7-14 in a weeklong overnight camp. Today, Andre continues to play baseball in the semi-professional Intercity League for the Andre Chiefs.

Andre graduated from Merrimack College in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Prior to a career in real estate, Andre worked for the Medford Public Schools.
