Medford Football to Host Pre-Season Mustang Stampede

Mustang Stampede at Hormel Stadium Saturday, May 15

The Senior Football Associates of Medford along with Mustang Head Coach Rico Dello Iacono, the Coaching Staff and the Medford Mustang football team have invited the community to a special event weekend to get them pumped for the upcoming season.

The Mustang Stampede will take place Saturday, May 15th from 12:30PM-4:00PM at the home of the Mustangs, Hormel Stadium. There will be plenty to keep busy, including the 7th Annual Push-Up-A-Thon, a parent meeting with Coach Dello Iacono, a cookout, vendor booths with cleats and spirit packs, music by Dave McCourt, horseshoes, bocce ball, Pop Warner registration, and raffles, including a football signed by Patriots Running Back Fred Taylor. There will also be a Mustang Stampede Youth Football Clinic from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM for ages 8-14 years conducted by members of the coaching staff from Medford High School and Medford Pop Warner.

The guest speaker will be Eddie Rideout, former Boston College wide receiver and kKick returner, Boston College Hall of Famer, All-Scholastic QB/Harry Agganis All-Star MVP & Captain, MHS Fall of Famer, New England Patriots Draftee, and one of the most exciting Mustang players to ever wear the blue and white!
