Karen (Porcella) O’Reilly of Belmont, April 16, 2010.

Extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Bruce O’Reilly, son David O’Reilly and wife Nicole, son Chris O’Reilly and wife Kristin, sister Maureen Clough, brother Philip Porcella, grandchildren Cameron and Connor who lovingly referred to her as Grandy, and many dear friends.

Karen was a dedicated teacher in both Lexington and Medford Public Schools for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed by everyone at the Brooks Elementary School in Medford. Her favorite times were spent with her family and grandchildren.

Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford Street, Arlington, at 11:00 Am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. At the family’s request please omit flowers.
