Medford Businesses to ‘Salute’ Veterans May 19

The Medford Chamber of Commerce, through the generous support of East Boston Savings Bank, is holding it’s third annual Medford Businesses Salute the Military Luncheon on Wednesday, May 19 at the City Hall Council Chambers at 12:00pm.

This year’s event will have some special moments for our community as Boy Scout Troop 423 will present the colours and the Dance Haven competition team has prepared a dance segment to salute our military veterans. The Medford High School alumni band will entertain those assembled with patriotic music. As is our tradition, the story of the fallen soldier will be read.

This year co-chair Laurie Arena has produced an outstanding video on Medford’s own veterans. Two of our local “heros” will speak on their experiences overseas.
