Parent Group Organizes School Budget Meeting
|Medford Public Schools Budget Information Meeting
Wednesday, June 2, 7pm, Medford Public Library
Do you have questions about how the current fiscal crisis is affecting our schools and our children’s education? Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn and Noah Berger, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center, will each present information and speak about the challenging budget situation in our school system today.
Afterwards there will be a Question and Answer period. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to learn more about this important topic, and we hope you will attend!
The meeting is sponsored by Advocating for Medford Public Schools (a4mps). We are a grassroots group of Medford residents working to advocate for the Medford Public Schools. The mission of the group is to ensure adequate funding and continuous improvement of the citywide school system.
We encourage all Medford parents to visit our website at www.advocating4mps.org, and to sign up on our Yahoo list serve. By signing up you will be kept informed of news, meetings and actions you can take [part in – and it’s free!!
