Garciaparra in Town for July Baseball Camp

Nomar Garciaparra will spend some time in Medford this summer helping young ball players learn how to improve their game.

Garciaparra, who retired last year as a member of the Red Sox, will provide guidance at a summer baseball camp run by RBI Academy with Tufts University Baseball Coach John Casey.

Campers will have an opportunity to meet Garciaparra and have a picture taken with the former baseball star.

The camp is $325 and runs from July 6-July 9 at Tufts University and is for boys and girls ages 7-17.
