Fall Dog Show to Raise Money for Medford Dog Park

Support your community and show off your dog!

On Saturday, September 18 Medford’s Jingle Bell Committee will choose the area’s TOP DOG. The dog show is being held at LoConte Rink on Locust Street Medford. The $15 registration fee includes a Top Dog t-shirt and a 5 lb. bag of AvoDerm dog food.

Entry forms for the TOP DOG Show are available at Colleen’s Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop, Cruise Vacation, Inc. and at Lonergan Insurance and Real Estate all located on High Street in Medford Square. Dogs will be judged in three groups based on size from small to large. Events include a fashion show, best dog and a look-a-like contest. There is an agility exhibition and a demonstration by the Medford Police Canine unit. Vendors providing pet specialty items and pet services will exhibit along with a number of crafts people. Events are scheduled every half hour from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Spectator admission is $10 for adults and $5 for a child. Children under 2 yrs. are free of charge.

Proceeds from this event are dedicated to the creation of Medford’s first dog park and to provide canine programs for clients at the Community Family Center on Washington Street, Medford.
