State Primary Tuesday, September 14

On Tuesday, September 14 voters will head to the polls for a state primary to select party candidates for various statewide offices.

Registered Democrats and Republicans will receive their respective party’s ballot to select candidates, while independent (unenrolled) voters not registered with a party will be able to choose a ballot at the poll.

Here’s a look at what will be on the ballot. There are three separate ballots in Medford for each of the parties (Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, etc.). The ballots differ depending upon the state representative district. The current state representatives are Paul Donato (D-Medford, Malden), Carl Sciortino (D-Medford, Somerville), and Sean Garballey (D-Arlington, Medford).
