MVTHS Culinary Arts Students Hold Bake Sale

fruit tartThe 5th Annual Medford Voc Tech Culinary Arts Bake Sale will take place on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in two locations.

Stop by the main lobby of Medford City Hall (89 George P. Hassett Drive) between 10:00am and 2:00pm or the main lobby of Medford High School (489 Winthrop Street) between 9:30am and 12:00pm. Pre-orders may be picked up at the high school at that time.

The sale will feature delicious contemporary and traditional holiday baked goods prepared by MVTHS Culinary Arts students.

Items available for purchase include: Christmas Sugar Cookies, Oatmeal Cookies, Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookies, Almond or Anisette Biscotti, Madeleine’s, Chocolate Fantasy Cookies, Gingerbread People, Banana, Date Nut, Lemon Poppy & Cranberry Nut Tea Breads, Italian Panettone Bread, Polish Babka Bread, Christmas Figgy or Plum Pudding, Aged Fruit Cakes, Buche de Noel, Pear Frangipane Tart, 3 Berry Pie, Mile High Apple Craisin Pie and Fresh Fruit Tarts.

Buche de Noel & Pear Frangipane Tarts require pre-order. Cookies and tea breads cost approximately $2-$3, Babka & Panettone Breads cost $5, Pear Frangipane Tart & Fresh Fruit Tarts each costs $10. Fruit cakes, Figgy Pudding, and Christmas Plum Puddings cost $20 each and serve 10+.

All baked goods are prepared from scratch and are attractively packaged for gift giving or for your own holiday table.
