|Post-Christmas Snow Storm Dumps Over Foot of Snow
2010 is going out with a bang, with a post-Christmas snow storm bringing over a foot of snow to Medford and even more snow to other parts of the state.
A blizzard warning from the National Weather Service expires at noon on Monday but high winds and light snow throughout the early afternoon will continue to make travel messy and hazardous. Tuesday and Wednesday will be cold and windy but Thursday and Friday are expected to be close to forty and sunny.
A snow emergency remains in effect in Medford until further notice.
A red pick up truck attempts to drive down a very snowy Medford street.
The storm has postponed Monday’s trash and recycling pickup to Tuesday. All other scheduled pickups this week are expected to happen on time, according to city officials.
Snow blowers buzzed up and down this snowy street as people began clearing over a foot of snow.
