Girls Tennis Team Wins First Match of Season

The Lady Mustang tennis team won its first two matches of the season this week, with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over O’Bryant on Tuesday and a sound 4-1 defeat over Malden on Thursday.

“We actually went into this match thinking it was an easy win, but didn’t see the three freshmen that O’Bryant picked up this year. Their #1, 2 and 3 were great players. We took the doubles easily and fought hard to win one singles,” said Coach Ellie Brady-O’Leary.

Against Malden two of the matches went into three sets and the girls fought very hard to win them, said Coach Brady-O’Leary.
