Medford Babe Ruth Opening Day April 9
|Medford Babe Ruth League kicked off the season on April 9, with the American League hitting the field at Playstead Park and the National League at Hickey Park.
Head Medford High School Baseball Coach Mike Nestor tossed the ceremonial pitch to open up American League competition between the Angels and White Sox, while Mayor Michael McGlynn threw out the first pitch for the Astros/Nationals game.
