What: Free Children’s Activities at Whole Foods Market in Medford, with a portion of the day’s store net sales donated to the Medford Family Network (MFN).
When: Tuesday, April 19 Activities: 9am-7pm Store hours: 8am-9pm

The Friends of the Medford Family Network (MFN) invites families to enjoy children’s activities and stock up for Spring holidays while supporting the MFN! Whole Foods Market in Medford has selected the MFN as the beneficiary of its 5% donation day, where 5% of its day’s net sales will be donated to the Medford Family Network. The MFN will present fun activities at the store all day, perfect to keep the kids entertained during April vacation week!
Activities include:
– Face-painting and hand stamps throughout the day
– Book Reading of “Farmer Duck†at 10AM, 2PM, and 4:30PM
– Celebrity bagger! Mayor McGlynn bags 12:30-1pm
– Healthy snack demonstrations at meal hours
No coupon is needed, and there is no additional cost to families. If you already shop at Whole Foods Market, this is a great opportunity to donate to the MFN without spending any extra money! Simply stock up as normal and buy those extra specialties needed for Spring holidays, and a portion of your purchase goes to supporting the MFN. Proceeds directly fund the programs of the Medford Family Network (MFN) that you value and enjoy

About the Medford Family Network
The Medford Family Network (MFN) of the Medford Public Schools is a grant-funded family support and parenting education program that is free and accessible to every child and caregiver who lives or works in Medford. The MFN helps to nurture development of children from birth through age 13, and to support the families that care for this age group. No-cost programs include parenting and caregiver education classes; playgroups; drop-in play center; family literacy initiatives; and clothing, book and toy swaps. Programs are offered on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.
