Chiefs Open Playoffs Wednesday at Tufts

The Andre Chiefs (18-13) finished the regular season in third place and will now play the number six seed Watertown Reds (15-16) in a best of three series that will open on Wednesday at Tufts at 5:30 PM.

On Friday, August 12 the Chiefs face the Reds at Bentley at 5:30PM. A third game is scheduled for Saturday back at Tufts if necessary.

The Lexington Blue Sox and Wakefield Merchants finished in first and second place, respectively and have earned byes in the first round of the playoffs. The Chiefs narrowly missed the second place spot and earning a bye after falling to the Merchants 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Other teams participating in the playoffs are the Testa Corp. Bombers (17-13) and the Reading Bulldogs (16-15).
