MHS PTO Thanks Sponsors of Post-Prom Party

This year, the Class of 2012 celebrated their junior post prom party on April 29, 2011 in the Gantcher Center at Tufts. Once again Tufts gave back to the youth of Medford and allowed us to take over the center and entertain over 220 teens from 12-5 am.

The partygoers were treated to all kinds of fun, food, friendship, and prizes. We had a Mechanical Bull, Wrecking Ball, Bounce House, Basketball Hoops, Guitar Hero, a Tattoo Air Artist, and an extremely powerful Hypnotist. There was DJ music playing all night long, plenty of sporting games ( a very large volleyball game was a great hit) going on, various movies to watch, and so much more for all to enjoy.

Thanks to Bob Reppucci and Tim Troville for all their help each and every year in allowing us the use of the facilities. Thanks to Captain Mark Keith and the Tufts Police for helping supervise our well-behaved guests. And thanks to the Medford Police Department and especially Officer Ciampi and Officer Riccardi for their all-night presence. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Special thanks to Dr. Krueger for his endless support in making this happen every year; his staff for their assistance in the mailings and all the extra phone calls put upon them, Lisa Bowler for her endless dedication and support, and to the Class Advisors, Ms. Barbara Parson, Ms. Debra Stadfeld and Mr. Ross, the class of 2012 Submaster for their total participation with promoting the event and ticket sales.

A huge THANK YOU to the “Up All Night Committee” and all the parents for their support and assistance with fundraising, donating prizes, chaperoning (yes, some of them actually stayed up all night….) setting up, picking up food, cleaning up, transporting students, and everything else needed to make this event a huge success. And most importantly, THANKS to the JR. Class for making this night a fun, safe, and memorable one for all who attended!!!

And last but not least, Thank You to the Medford High School PTO who held there first Trivia Night in which the monies raised was used in part to support the All Night Party. We couldn’t have done it without their support. Thanks to everyone who helped to make that night a success.
