Boys Soccer Team Earns Shutout Victory

The boys varsity soccer team blanked Northeast Metro Tech 3-0 on Friday afternoon on home turf.

Senior captains Jon Pires and John Dumbuya netted the Mustangs’ three goals. Pires and Dumbuya each scored in the first half and Dumbuya was the team’s lone scorer in the second half.

The Mustangs controlled the entire game from the beginning en route to a shutout victory. Matheus Anastacio, Tenzin Choepak and Gilbert Simas each contributed solid defense to help bring home the W.

The Mustangs are currently 3-0 with their latest 1-0 victory over Malden Catholic on Monday. They travel to Malden on Wednesday and host Cambridge on Friday at 4:00pm.
