Girls Soccer Team Earns Back to Back Victories

The girls varsity soccer team is on a three-game winning streak, including two shut-out victories.
Last Friday the Lady Mustangs defeated GBL rival Cambridge 2-0. Korey O’Rourke scored both of Medford’s goals, according to Head Coach Rachel Perry.
On Wednesday the Mustangs blanked East Boston, 6-0. Olivia Timmins scored two goals while O’Rourke, Jamie deRosas, Regine Jacques, and Cassidy Lebert each contributed one goal.
On Friday Medford hosted another GBL rival, Everett, and defeated the Crimson Tide 4-1. Timmins added two goals while Alessia LaRocca contributed a goal and two assists and Nicole Avella netted a goal for the Mustangs.
Medford is currently undefeated in the GBL at 4-0 and is 6-2 overall.
Next up for the Lady Mustangs is a home match against Somerville under the lights at 7:00PM on Wednesday, October 5.
