Route 93 Bridge, Road Work October 14-21
This weekend, work crews will undertake some additional restoration work associated with the completion of the replacement of fourteen bridges on I-93 in Medford. The work will take place on Friday, October 14th through Monday, October 17th.
The following lane closures are scheduled to occur this weekend
(Friday, October 14-Monday, October 17):
Route I-93 Northbound
– Alternating single left or right lane closure between Exit 29 (Route 28/38) and Exit 34 (Route 28 North) on Friday, October 14 between 8 PM and 9 AM; on Saturday, October 15 between 7 AM and 3 PM and between 8 PM and 9 AM; and on Sunday, October 16 between 8 PM and 5 AM.
Route I-93 Southbound
– Alternating single left or right lane closures between Exit 35 (Winchester Highlands) and Exit 28 (Sullivan Square) on Friday, October 14 between 8 PM and 9 AM; on Saturday, October 15 between 7 AM and 3 PM and between 8 PM and 9 AM; and on Sunday, October 16 between 8 PM and 5 AM.
Route 16
– Alternating single left or right lane closures on Route 16 east and west near I-93 on Saturday, October 15 between 7 AM and 3 PM.
Local Roadways
– Periodic single lane or shoulder closures on Saturday, October 15 between 7 AM and 3 PM in the area near beneath Route I-93 at Route 28 South (Fellsway)/Valley Street; Webster Street; Route 60 (Salem Street); and Riverside Avenue. Provisions for pedestrian access will be maintained.
The following lane closures are scheduled to occur throughout next week
(Monday, October 17-Friday, October 21):
Route I-93 Northbound
– Alternating single left or right lane closure between Exit 29 (Route 28/38) and Exit 34 (Route 28 North) on Monday, October 17 through Thursday, October 20 between 9 AM and 2 PM and between 8 PM and 5 AM and on Friday, October 21 between 9 AM and 12 PM and between 8 PM and 5 AM.
Route I-93 Southbound
– Alternating single left or right lane closures between Exit 35 (Winchester Highlands) and Exit 28 (Sullivan Square) on Monday, October 17 through Thursday, October 20 between 10 AM and 3 PM and between 8 PM and 5 AM and on Friday, October 21 between 10 AM and 12 PM and between 8 PM and 5 AM.
Route 16
– Alternating single left or right lane closures on Route 16 east and west near I-93 on Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 21 between 7 AM and 5 PM. Provisions for pedestrian access will be maintained.
Local Roadways
