Medford Inventor, MHS to be on TV Show November 2

Medford’s own Steve Norris, a veritable science nerd who creates useful robots out of common household objects, will be featured in an episode of National Geographic’s “Mad Scientist” on Wednesday, November 2 at 10:30PM.

Norris was challenged to create, in just forty-eight hours, a robot that could dunk a basketball. Find out what happened during the November 2 episode, which was filmed last April at Medford High School’s gym in front of students, teachers, and the girls and boys basketball teams.

The “Mad Scientist” segment will feature Norris and his inventions as well as the robot challenge that was filmed at MHS.
