Haberstroh Thanks Supporters

Dear friends and family,

I want to thank those of you who supported me as candidate for city council in Medford – thank you! I’d like to offer a special note of thanks to my friend Jared Ingersoll, who encouraged me to run. The campaign was energizing and exhilarating—and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

Though I lost, I consider it an honor that I received 2,800 plus votes from the people of Medford. I did win my base placing first in ward 6, precinct 1, and second in all of ward 6 (behind Councilor Camuso)—that’s the silver lining of my campaign.

I want to congratulate all the candidates that did win – congrats and good luck – you deserve your win. It is my hope that you will serve our city well by focusing on high priority issues that will foster Medford’s capacity to thrive in the 21st century. In doing so, I urge you to both listen to a broad cross-section of your Medford constituents as we speak our minds and gather and weigh high quality evidence as you make key decisions that will impact us all.
