Medford, Malden to Meet for 124th Thanksgiving Game

On Thursday the Medford and Malden football teams will take the field against each other for the 124th time. Depending on who you ask, it’s the third oldest high school football rivalry in the country. This year Medford is hosting the annual classic at 10:00AM at Hormel Stadium. The Mustangs haven’t won since 2006 and are definitely looking for some revenge with the Golden Tornadoes. It is the last game for sixteen seniors- captains Nick Olivier, Chris Bucknam, Steve Center, and Max Clancy, and Steve Moran, John Petrella, Stephen White, Nicholas St. Jean, Greg Johnson, DeStephanos Marcellus, John McGreevey, Dan Costello, Adam Spencer, Abe Bencid-Sanchez, Reginald Fleurival, and Mike Pizzi.
