MHS Hockey Hosts Ukrainian Youth Team Saturday

According to Medford High School Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Steve DeBenedictis, his team will host a very special international guest on Saturday on home ice.

On Saturday, December 17 Ivan Pravilov and his Ukraine U16 Elite team will square off against the Mustangs in a “friendly exhibition game.” The game is taking place at 7:00pm at LoConte Rink in Medford.

The Ukrainian team will be in the area because of a New England tour, according to information released by Coach DeBenedictis

There will be free admission for Medford youth and middle school hockey players.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of Medford Hockey and the Shawn Bates Foundation.
