If you’d like to hear some great music and support a worthy cause, head down to John Brewer’s Tavern in Malden on Sunday, February 19th, from 12-6PM.
The tavern, located at 7 Highland Ave. in Malden, will host the 2nd Annual Charity Crawfish Boil, a fundraiser to benefit Children’s Hospital in Boston. Admission is free but patrons are welcome to make donations. In addition, there will be Red Sox tickets and other prizes.
The following musicians and bands are donating their time and talents:
– Brian Burrill (www.BrianBurrill.com)
– Wishful Thinking (www.myspace.com/wishfulthinkingboston)
– Lauren Bateman Band (www.laurenbateman.com)
– Charlie Keating Band (www.CharlieKeatingBand.com)
This year John Brewer’s has brought the “community†fundraiser to a whole new level. The local family tavern has invited its 7000+ mailing list of guests to participate in the fundraising as well as attend the event. To get involved, call or stop by the restaurant and ask to speak with a manager.
In honor of Mardi Gras, John Brewer’s will be serving Cajun food, such as boiled Crawfish, Po’ Boys and Jambalaya. Patrons wearing traditional Mardi Gras colors (purple, green or gold) will receive a free prize ticket.
