McDonald’s Launches ‘Bakery’ Product Line
|McDonalds’s continues to transform its image as a greasy fast-food restaurant chain. In addition to adding healthier menu items and using all natural ingredients in some products, McDonald’s is competing in the coffee and pastries market.
The chain recently launched “McDonald’s Bakery,” which features a cheese danish, blueberry muffin, multi-grain berry muffin, banana bread, and mini vanilla scones. According to a press release from McDonald’s, the items include quality ingredients and are made with things like real dairy butter and sour cream, real fruit, whole grain oats, and real vanilla beans. They also contain no preservatives.
“Our launch of these delicious bakery offerings allows us to better meet our customers’ desire for menu variety and quality food with the convenience we’re known for,†says Lou Provenzano, McDonald’s Owner Operator. “Now our customers have more options for an affordable and portable breakfast or snack.â€
The new bakery items are available all day and not just for breakfast time.
The only McDonald’s in Medford is located at the Meadow Glenn Mall.
