‘Smash and Grab’ Suspect Rips Off Marcou Jewelers

Medford Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly snatched a bunch of gold chains from a Meadow Glenn Mall jewelry store.

According to information released by police, at 11AM on Sunday morning a suspect smashed a display case at Marcou Jewelers at the mall and grabbed “a large quantity” of gold necklaces before fleeing the scene. The store manager chased the suspect out of the mall but lost track of him as he fled in the direction of Linden Street.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the alleged culprit. The suspect is described as approximately 5’11” and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and white skeleton mask.
