WMHLL Playoffs Begin Tuesday

The West Medford Hillside Major League regular season ended this Saturday and the Minor League season is ending on Monday. Playoff schedules for the first found are posted at www.eteamz.com/wmhll. Major playoffs begin this Tuesday with Cardinals vs. Marlins and Wednesday with Red Sox vs. A’s.

Minor playoffs begin this Wednesday with Phillies vs. Mets and Friday Blue Jays vs. Diamondbacks.

T-ball and Farm league trophy day is Saturday, June 16, 2012. All T-ball teams should report for activities at 9:30AM and then BBQ and trophy ceremony will start at 11:00AM.

The GoodWill for the Grill, which will be sponsored by Whole Foods, occurs Saturday, June 16, 2012. The cost is $5.00 (T-Ball and Farm Players are free) and all proceeds will go to the recent purchase of the new West Medford Hillside Little League scoreboard for the Santoro Field at Memorial Park. Medford’s Whole Foods recently donated $3,500 and the money was raised from their corporation and their loyal customers. The West Medford-Hillside baseball community thanks Whole Foods and the many wonderful local businesses for their continued support.

Finally, we are having a raffle to raise money for WMHLL with gas cards, Red Sox tix, and Patriots tix available to win. If you haven’t bought your raffle tickets please do so this week. We will draw winners on Saturday afternoon. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5.
