Medford Celebrates Flag Day

On Thursday, June 14, Medford recognized Flag Day with an enormous flag draped over the front of City Hall. The 45 by 90 foot flag is a replica of a similar flag that flies at Mount Rushmore, according to information released by Mayor Michael McGlynn.

“In Medford, we always take the time to honor not only our veterans who made great sacrifices in order to protect our freedoms, but we also take the time to honor our Flag, which is the symbol of freedom around the world,” said Mayor McGlynn.
