Dalai Lama in Medford Tuesday

On Tuesday, October 16 one of the world’s major spiritual leaders will be in Medford. The 14th Dalai Lama is making a return trip to the Kurukulla Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies. While the event is private, those without tickets can watch live on www.madeinmedford.com. In addition, screen and speakers will be located outside of the event, taking place on Magoun Avenue and Washington Street, so those without tickets can watch. A Tibetan market place on Washington Street will also be open to the public before and after the Dalai Lama’s speech, which is expected to be from 1:30-3:30PM. Road closures and parking restrictions are planned for the area starting at 7AM. Further details are available on www.medford.org.
