|Sundays at Tufts- Community Concert Series October 21
The Tufts University Department of Music is pleased to announce a performance by Group ConTempo featuring performance faculty drummer Renato Malavasi on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. as part of the Sunday at Tufts – Community Concert Series. The performance will take place in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center and will include an exciting blend of original music that combines the raw energy of American electric fusion, the deep groove of traditional Brazilian polyrhythms, and the subtle finesse of European harmony.

New at Noon- Music of the Apocalypse October 26
The Tufts University Department of Music presents New At Noon – Music of the Apocalypse, a performance of student creations by Tufts Composers, in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 12 p.m.
The concert will feature works by the members of the Tufts Composers Composition Seminar: Jeannette Chechile, Michael Grant, Daniel Joseph, Michael Laurello, Christopher Marinuzzi, Grace Oberhofer, Deniz Tetik, Meng Tian, and Logan Wright. The pieces performed at this concert are inspired by the topic of the Apocalypse.
