Medford Pop Warner Colts Cheerleaders GBL Champs

On Saturday, October 6, the Medford Pop Warner Colts cheerleaders were crowned Greater Boston League Champions in the Midget and Pee Wee divisions at Lawrence High School!

The day consisted of two sessions, the first of which watched the PeeWee Medium Level 1 team bring their newly acquired skills to the competition mat. Although the majority of the team’s members are new to the program, they cheered their 2 ½ minute routine with outstanding Medford pride! Later that day, in the afternoon session, the Midget Medium Level 2 team would bring the combination of experience mixed with new talent to the floor, showcasing their style through stunts, jumps, dance tumbling and their mighty Medford determination! During the afternoon session, the youngest team from Medford would perform an exhibition. The E/F team would have the crowd clapping their hands, stomping their feet and cheering! They may be small, but their enthusiasm was as great as that of their older competition teams.

The Midget and PeeWee teams will advance to the Pop Warner Football Conference of Eastern Mass Championships on Saturday, October 27 at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell. Congratulations to all the teams and good luck at Eastern Mass!
