Fall Snow

Last year it was October, and this year it’s November for unusually early snow. A light snow fell on Medford and the area on Wednesday afternoon as part of another storm moving through the region. The snow became heavier at night, with enough falling to cover non-paved surfaces such as the artificial turf at Hormel Stadium. A wind advisory is in effect for the area until 6AM on Thursday, according to Wunderground.com. Winds are expected to be 15-25 miles per hour with gusts as much as 50 miles per hour. Thursday is also expected to be rainy and windy with gusts up to 35 miles per hour.
