Jeanette Murphy, 67

Jeanette D. (Bell) Murphy, of Windham and formerly of Medford died after a brief illness at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She was 67.

Born and raised in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Everett D and the late Ruth E (Snow) Bell. After her marriage and the birth of her children, Jeanette settled in Medford where she and her late husband Paul raised their family. A good neighbor and friend to many, Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with the kids. For 30 years she worked as an administrative assistant in the Medford School System.

The beloved wife of the late Paul F. Murphy, she was a devoted mother to Robert Murphy and his companion Heather Merchant of Medford, Shannon Boudreau of Windham and her late husband Brian. She was a loving grandmother to Robbie, Liam, Renee, Hunter, Mikey and Kaytlyn. She was a dear sister to Dorothy Conley of Holbrook, Patricia DeMarco of Simi Valley, CA, Ann Volpe of Quincy, Gerard Bell of Saugus, CA, Priscilla LeBlanc of Quincy, Thomas Bell of Henderson, NV, Douglas Bell of Dorchester, Karen Lynch of Quincy and the late Cynthia O’Bryan, Robert, Geraldine, Everett “Sonny” and Allen Bell.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning December 4th at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
