More Snow Coming Wednesday Night, Thursday

An active storm system that has wreaked havoc in other parts of the country is heading into Medford and the area Wednesday night. Despite the heavy snow and severe weather in other states, the storm is expected to bring only an inch or two of snow to the Boston area.
According to the National Weather Service, it will begin snowing around 1AM. Little accumulation is expected; it’s the high wind that is more of a concern. Winds could gust as high as 41 miles per hour.
Thursday is forecast to be rainy and windy with a high temperature of 45. More snow will fall Thursday night but the accumulation is expected to be negligible.
Friday will be sunny with a high around 37, according to the NWS forecast. There is a possibility for snow on Saturday and Sunday.
