Fog in Medford

A dense fog enveloped the Mystic River and this bridge in Medford Square in mid-December. According to architect and local photographer Doug Shoop, the fog settled in quickly and was gone almost as fast, but not before he had a chance to snap this eerie photo. According to local meteorologists, humidity combined with melting snow can lead to foggy conditions.
