English At Large Online Auction Starts Feb. 22

English at Large (EAL), a volunteer-based non-profit organization that provides free individual and small group English literacy instruction to adult immigrants in 21 Boston area communities, recently announced that its annual online auction fundraiser, “A Bid for Literacy” will be held from February 22 through March 4, 2013. All proceeds will be used to improve and expand the literacy programs offered by EAL.

Many local businesses and individuals have donated a wide variety of exciting items for EAL’s auction including sports tickets, performing arts tickets, use of vacation homes, hotel and restaurant certificates, and collectibles. The auction is open to the public and can be accessed at http://www.biddingforgood.com/englishatlarge.
