MHS Boys Lacrosse Team Opens State Tourney at Westford Academy

The Medford High School boys varsity lacrosse team will open up the state tournament at Westford Academy on Wednesday, according to the MIAA website.

Medford, 9-11, is seeded twenty-third out of twenty-five teams in East Division 1 while Westford Academy, 12-8, is tenth.

The winner will face seventh seed Xaverian (12-6).

Greater Boston League rival Cambridge (9-7, #22), also qualified for the state tournament. The Falcons open at Andover (13-5, #11) on Wednesday.
