Ed Accomando Joins Re/Max Andrew Realty Services
Broker Owner, John Veneziano, is pleased to announce the addition of experienced REALTOR®/Sales Associate, Ed Accomando, to the RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services sales team.
Accomando brings to the Medford and Stoneham-based company, a wealth of real estate knowledge and experience, as well as an impressive business and academic background. For more than a decade, Accomando has specialized in the marketing and sale of both residential and commercial real estate. He has also been involved in property management for the past four years. Previously, Accomando was affiliated with Weichert REALTORS®-Blueprint Brokers and Wolfson-Cutler Real Estate of Medford. As a RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services REALTOR®, Accomando will continue to service Massachusetts, with special emphasis on the Greater Boston and Boston North markets. Through RE/MAX’s global network, however, Accomando is able to assist buyers and sellers looking to relocate anywhere across the state, nation and around the world.
Born in Somerville and raised in both Somerville and Medford, Accomando is a longtime resident of Andover where he and his wife, Sheila, raised their five children. His three oldest sons are Officers in the United States Navy and have served their country overseas. Accomando spent 16 years coaching youth baseball and 14 years coaching youth soccer in Andover.
Accomando is a graduate of the University of Massachsuetts Amherst who holds a BS degree in economics, a BBA degree in marketing (summa cum laude) and a MBA in finance with honors. Prior to his career in real estate, Accomando enjoyed a successful career in finance, working as a stock broker/investment banker. He was a vice president at Lehman Brothers and a senior vice president at Moseley Investments. In 1987, Accomando was named Best Stock Trader in Boston by Boston Magazine. In 1989, he was elected one of the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Outstanding 100 Graduates.
Over the years, Accomando has been involved in a variety of professional, civic and charitable organizations. Presently, he is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS ® (MAR), and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB). He is also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, as well as a member of the Sons of Italy #1359 Club of Medford who also served as treasurer and board member of the organization. Additionally, Accomando is a past president of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Alumni Association (1988-1993), as well as a director of the University, having served on its board in 1991.
