Pres. Obama to Hold Public Rally for Markey

President Barack Obama will help fellow Democrat Ed Markey on the campaign trail this week.

The President will join Congressman Markey, who is running for US Senate, at a public rally in Boston on Wednesday, according to information released by Markey’s campaign.

The event is being held at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Roxbury. Doors open at 11AM.

The rally is free and open to the public but tickets are needed. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. They are available for pick up in several locations and can also be reserved online.

Markey and Republican Gabriel Gomez are both vying for the open Senate seat formerly held by John Kerry. The special election is taking place on Tuesday, June 25.
