Legion Baseball Team Earns 4th Straight Win

Medford Post 45 baseball team earned their fourth straight win with a 6-3 win over Lowell on Thursday.

The Lowell road win was Medford’s second over the team to sweep the series, according to Coach Ryan Kozul.

Mark Fusco (Arlington Catholic) earned a complete game win, scattering nine hits with seven strikeouts. He also contributed an RBI and run scored.

Dave Center (Medford High School) was 3-3 with two triples, a double, and an RBI. Mustang teammate Sean Doncaster had an RBI double and run scored. Fellow Mustangs Jake Porrazzo and Ryan Covelle each had an RBI and run scored while AC’s Kyle Boudrias also had a run scored.

Medford is currently 4-0 and in first place in Zone 5B heading into Friday’s home game against Malden at Playstead Park. First pitch is at 5:45PM.
