Scanlon Named New Assistant City Solicitor

The City of Medford’s new Assistant City Solictor, Kim Scanlon, was officially sworn in on Monday, July 8, 2013. Pictured at her swearing-in ceremony are City Clerk Ed Finn, Deborah Scanlon (Mother of Kim), Kim Scanlon and Mayor Michael McGlynn.

Scanlon has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State and a law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. Scanlon has been an intern and administrative assistant at Medford City Hall for over ten years and has worked in the Health, Community Development, and Law Departments.
