Osborne Submits Nomination Papers for City Council
|On Tuesday, July 23, Neil Osborne, the first candidate to declare his City Council candidacy, submitted his nomination papers at City Hall with three times the necessary number of signatures, according to his campaign.
Attorney Osborne, who lives in West Medford, is seeking a seat on the Council and would be the first African American to serve in 32 years. Nomination papers are due in on July 30, 2013.
Osborne, an attorney, is a member of Kiwanis International, President of the Mystic Valley NAACP, and a board member of the West Medford Community Center and Jamaican Associates. He lives on Boston Avenue with his wife Maria Scott Osborne and daughter Drexel.
