CACHE, Local Businesses Collaborate on ‘Medford Saves’ Discount Program

CACHE in Medford and local businesses have partnered to organize MEDFORD SAVES, a discount program to promote our local businesses and raise funds for CACHE programs. For the $15 price of the key tag (similar to those used by major supermarkets) with the companion booklet listing the businesses and their discounts, a buyer can save more than $2000 when shopping at 50 local businesses. The program includes valuable discounts and special offers at a wide range of businesses and is valid until December 31, 2014, unless otherwise noted. By presenting the Medford Saves key tag to participating businesses, shoppers can take advantage of many savings and all proceeds from the sale of Medford Saves will directly fund the free programs of CACHE.

CACHE (Coalition for Arts, Culture, and a Healthy Economy) is a non-profit organization made up of over 20 arts, cultural, and historic institutions in Medford. We collectively advocate for the arts, produce free arts and cultural events in Medford, and work together to make our community a more vibrant place to live, work and play. And, we actively partner with local businesses to promote a creative economy in Medford. CACHE in Medford produces Arts Across Medford, a month of cultural programs throughout the city; the Mystic River Celebration, an outdoor arts festival at the Condon Shell on October 5 this year; and a third Thursday street festival in Medford Square from June through September.

Medford Saves will be on sale on Thursday, August 8 at the Farmers Market, 3-7 PM (also on September 5), and during Circle the Square on August 15 and September 19 3-7 PM. Other dates and locations will be posted on CACHE in Medford facebook.
