NAACP Mystic Valley Area Branch Seeks Youth Members
|Opportunities for Leadership Development and Community Service
Each member of Mystic Valley NAACP’s Executive Committee will personally purchase youth memberships for any one 20 years old and younger who enrolls or renews as a member on or before the next branch general membership meeting on September 23rd the four Monday of the month. In response to the Executive Committees’ offer several branch members stepped up to also offer to purchase youth memberships.
The opportunity for the free youth membership is not unlimited and is offered on a first come first served basis. Mystic Valley Area Branch NAACP jurisdiction includes the cities of Medford, Malden, Everett, Winchester, Arlington and Woburn. Along with connecting with other area youth within the Mystic Valley’s jurisdiction around civil rights advocacy youth members will also be eligible to participate in activities throughout the New England area of the NAACP and possibly attend national conferences. Youth members activities and projects are guided by an adult member from the branch.
