Mustang Golf Team Inches Closer to GBL Title

The MHS Golf team has captured at least a tie for the Greater Boston league title for the fourth time in the last five years.

If the team defeats Everett on Thursday, October 3, the Mustangs will qualify for the state regional tournament, which will be held on October 21 at Bradford Country Club.

“Qualifying for the state tournament while winning the GBL league title is our goal each and every year,” said Coach Ray Dyer.

The varsity team includes senior co-captains Adam Gabaree and Connor Lonergan, DJ Galvin, and Mike Bianco; juniors Dom Ramasci, Steve Silvio, Ryan Quinlan, Devin Newall, Ryan Hickey, and Anthony Naso; and “promising” freshmen Connor Frazer and Justin Kelly.

“I would like to thank the kids for a very rewarding year,” said Coach Dyer. “Their hard work should make Medford proud.”
